Asian Market on Drury Street
This well-hidden gem is located on one of the most central, hipster and lively streets of Dublin, Drury Street. Passing by, it will be quite hard not to notice its bright yellow color and the waving cats on the window display inviting you to go inside and explore.
When you enter the market you don't really expect it to be that big. Numerous aisles with countless different Asian (but not only) products; big freezers filled with unusual, or even unseen to most of us, goods, which will keep you there staring and trying to fugure them out by reading the ingredients. Huge bags of spices, rice and noodles to store up for the next 4 years or so. More freezers and dairy/ fresh products to select from, along with a wide varierty of refreshers, sodas, fruity juices and our favourite Mochi treats. Fresh Asian products, like fruit and veggies can also be found in abundance, not to mention about kitchenware and china plates to die for.
Visiting the Asian Market on Drury Street is more like a small induction trip to Asia, rather than your average shopping experience and it would be highly recommended to have some spare time to spend there (also why not doing some research in ahead of time, it could be really useful!)
