An Invitation to Observe

An Invitation to Observe

One of my favorite and secret places in Ireland is Victor's Way, 20 hectares of nature, art and peace.

Victor's way is a private garden open to the public with giant sculptures, most of them inspired by Indian gods, buddha and some other very interesting creations like the "Ferryman" and "Split Man". The Garden is located in County Wicklow and in addition to the sculptures scattered throughout, the site has lakes and benches in the middle of the forest for meditation and rest; the walk to cover everything can take up to an hour, but of course you should take more to appreciate the silence and all the art that surrounds this amazing place.

When I was there in June the price to enter the park was 5 euros per person, there is a parking lot and also a craft store, driving from city center takes almost an hour, but unfortunately this little paradise just opens in Summer.

The owner Victor Langheld is a German who had the opportunity in his adult life to travel to spiritual places in Asia, from this wonderful experience came the inspiration of the sculpture park. As an appreciator of the arts in general, Buddhist and meditation practitioner I strongly recommend a walk through this incredible place. Although very attractive for everyone the place is recommended for adults not as picnic os something like this, just for relaxation and peace.

Next Summer give a contemplation a chance.
